Impact of Business Environment on the Present Economic Condition Thailand Case Study Introduction Business environment have significant impacted on economic conditions of Thailand. The country once ranked as one of the leading nations in the region for rapid economic and social development. Thailand’s current economic competitiveness was downgraded due government instability, incompetent public policies, corruption, as well as affected from present global economic downturn. This paper examines 15 dimensions of business environment: political, economic, cultural, technology, education, population, natural disaster, globalization, capitals, equity, transportation, competitors, and energy. Government instability and incompetent public policies Political conditions have direct impacted on business development of any nations. Government instability plays a major key to devalue overall Thai economy. Many firms minimize their share of investment in Thailand since the overthrown of Taksin’s regimes.
